Wowsers! Check out that HOT cover! It’s not nearly as hot as the book itself though – more to follow on that later when I post my review!
Nadya Dalca has been handed a death sentence. She’s been bitten by the last living genetically enhanced werewolf―part of the Nero Organization’s disastrous Moonlight project. With the poisonous blood now coursing through her system and pushing her to the limits, it is only a matter of time before Nadya’s fate is sealed…
Gareth Takoda told himself he couldn’t get involved. Caught up in a maelstrom of grief and bitterness, he has been isolating himself from his Pack. But when he is charged with watching over Nadya’s first transformation―or bear witness should it go horribly wrong―Gareth is torn further by unwanted desire and the need to protect what is his.
One kiss changes everything. One shattering, all-consuming kiss. And with it, Nadya and Gareth face either salvation…or death.

**Spotlight Review** – Capturing The Pirate’s Heart by Annie Seaton
Once again Annie Seaton has delivered a real winner.
Madeleine’s family is gone and her Uncle has emptied their manor house and dismissed the servants prior to dragging her onto a ship bound for the Americas. Meanwhile she has the key to a family secret and hopes she can recover something once they hit New Orleans that will allow her to restore her family home and the people she loves to their positions. She takes drastic measures to escape the noxious man her Uncle would have her marry and finds herself at sea on a pirate ship with the
notorious pirate Captain Sébastien Leclerc…
Sébastien has his own noble secrets. This story follows them on their very different quests, with peril, friendship, pretending, and family dramas.
Their love develops despite the trust issues and multiple masquerades they both must play.
Once again Annie Seaton has delivered a real winner. She also manages to leave us wanting the next installment in this shared world.
I have read every single book by this author, and again this one is my new favorite.
The locale and era is different from my own but the feelings and motivations of her characters are relate-able and ultimately Annie manages to draw us into her world, only releasing us as we turn the last page… or rather a short time thereafter.
I also have my reviews up here and appreciate every like and helpful I get!:
Tanya is right ON!
When it comes to the mid-term elections, since the 1840’s, voter turn out is usually low. The mid-terms seem to lack the pizzazz of a presidential election year. Voting however is very important to any democracy regardless of what offices, and measures, are on the ballot. It is the way the voice of the people gets heard. Don’t like a proposed legislation? Then vote against it. Like a certain candidate? Then vote for that person. Want to complain about how a measure could have not passed? Then vote. Want to brag about how a candidate got elected? Then vote. The key word being; vote.
In Oregon and Washington there is really no reason not to vote. Those are the only two states in the US that are 100% vote by mail. Ballots have already been mailed to residents in those states. Even if you are waiting to fill in the ballot…

I give Indian Curry and Kabab 5 stars, just as spicy as I like it. What was great was how they were able to make mine uber spicylicious and make it really mild for my friends that cannot eat fire like me 😉 That is cool. Even the mild was good too though, everything has depth of flavor. The Mango Chicken, Butter Chicken, Saag Paneer, Pakora, Chicken Tikka Masala, Channa Masala, Tandoori Chicken, Goat Curry, and more were all very tasty. They gave us plenty of rice and the Chai Tea is their house blend! They did not even charge us for bottled water. I have been back a few times and plan on making this my regular Indian place. It helps that their Garlic Naan is perfect and the chutney is really flavorful too. Next I plan on having lamb and another paneer dish…
You can easily feed two people from one dish and get away for less than $15 total. However, I recommend going with a few friends or family and ordering more. The food is tasty, generous, and well worth what you pay if you like leftovers – which I do.
I also reviewed at Menuism – where you can vote my review as helpful especially since I individually reviewed a great deal of the menu!
